4-H Fair T-shirts for 2010

Do you have an idea for a 4-H Fair T-shirt?

Date extended to April 9

We are taking ideas for T-shirt art at the April 9 meeting. If you can draw it on paper and bring it or send it with someone to the meeting, your art might be chosen for this year's 4-H Fair T-shirt.

Artwork for the T-shirt will be selected by the Coordinator of Marketing, in consultation with the Fair Vice President, Fair President and Extension staff. If your artwork is chosen for this year's T-shirt, you will receive two free Fair T-shirts after they are printed. (Understand that the Fair Association may choose not to use any of the artwork submitted.)

Guidelines are:

Original drawings please, no clipart.
Yes, you can base your drawing on a favorite T-shirt, but you should change the design to be more your own.
You may use a computer to trace photographs with the goal of making silhouettes, outlines that are filled with solid color, not many colors.
Drawings can be in pencil, marker, pen... the winning design will be altered to print well on a T-shirt.
You do not need to be great at drawing. Artwork will be chosen based largely on the idea.
Write your name and "4-H Fair T-shirt" on the back of your drawing.

† Entries are limited to 4-H members in New Haven County and in Middlesex County, Connecticut.
