Bring dresses, skirts, blouses, etc. on hangers. Articles previously evaluated for the Clothing
Revue are eligible to be judged at the 4-H Fair. For the Clothing Revue, emphasis is given to fit, attractiveness and the "total look" of the outfit on the individual. At the Fair, judging emphasizes the construction and condition of the outfit as seen on a hanger.
Enter crocheted or knitted exhibits in Class 4 (Needlework). Pillows are entered under Class 2 (Home Furnishings).
Judging: In scoring these exhibits, judges will consider suitability of fabric to purpose, practicality, individuality, style and condition (including cleanliness and press) as well as construction. A garment that has been worn and well cared for will receive the same consideration as a new garment.
See the printed fairbook for details. Fairbooks are published in late Spring.
