Welcome

To All Hartford County 4-Hers, Family and Friends,

Fair time is almost here and I am sure that all of you are busy preparing your projects and finishing up those last pages of your record book. As you look back on the goals that you set at the beginning of the year, I hope that you find that you have learned new skills, tried something new, or maybe even redirected your goals In 4-H, we learn to set goals and work hard to achieve them. "The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don't define them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them."(Denis Watley) As 4-H members we are all winners. It doesn't matter how many ribbons or trophies we come home with it is the adventure we share with each other. 4-H makes us all winners because we learn this important goal setting skill. "Some people wish it will happen, some people wait for it to happen, 4-H people make it happen!." As 4-H people we will make it happen together . . . we will make Hartford County 4-H Fair 2008 the Best ever! Thank you to all 4-H volunteers, leaders, parents, officers and advisors who have worked hard to help make this fair successful. Good Luck to all 4-Hers and enjoy the fair.

Sincerely,

Melissa Ferguson
