As President I would like to welcome and thank everyone for supporting and attending the 2011 Litchfield County 4-H Fair.
I am now in my 4th year as a 4-H member and have enjoyed every minute. I have enhanced my leadership skills and have learned a thing or two about myself along the way. 4-H is an extraordinary organization and I am glad that I am so actively involved with the fair. It has shown me that 4-H isn't only about showing animals,or exhibiting baked goods, but about teamwork, leadership, and best of all meeting and working with great people who all share a common interest. I am proud to serve as this year's 4-H Fair President as it has been a great opportunity to work with so many fantastic 4-H'ers, parents, leaders, and especially my officer team. I wouldn't have been able to do it without them!!
We are anticipating a splendid weekend for the fair with all the enthusiasm and support from so many sponsors, supporters, exhibitors, leaders and parents. This event is the accumulation of the year's worth of work for all the exhibitors. The 4-H'ers have spent countless hours working with their projects and will have a weekend to exhibit them. With that said, I would like to say a big thank you to all the leaders, directors and officers; they are all making this year's fair possible and very memorable.
Good luck to all and let's have a healthy, competitive, safe and fun 4-H Fair!
See you at the Fair in August!
Arielle Betti,
President, 2011 Litchfield County 4-H Fair Association
